Riceviamo questa mail (in inglese) dei nostri colleghi di Praga. Mentre noi saremo a Barcellona loro andranno a Pechino, e cercheranno in tutti i modi di fare una esibizione di Nuoto Sincronizato Maschile, per sensibilizzare l'opinione pubblica mostrando in circuiti alternativi ma prossimi alle gare olimpiche ciò che l'ufficialità del CONI nega ai maschi che praticano questo sport.
Non sarà facile: le ambasciate saranno piene di impegni, mentre difficilmente Pechino avrà piscine disponibili al di fuori degli impegni olimpici. Ma stiamo a vedere, non si sa mai...

yes, you are right. We are going to Peking. We leave Prague August 13th and stay for two weeks in Peking.
We stil ldo not know if we will have some exhibition. We are trying to arrange something, but as you can imagin how hard it is in communist country China, it is even five times harder because of Olympics.
We also negotiate with Czech embassy to do exhibition in embassy’s pool. NOrmally it would not be a problem, but the trouble is olympic time again because on the embassy will be every day politics, official olympinc team and so.
But we will see. Now we have visas, booked flights and acomoodation and we hope they will not return us on the border. You never know what happens until you are not staying in your hotel in china :-)
