Pechino 2008 - Il viaggio in Cina della squadra ceca - le foto

Qualche tempo fa, la notizia che la squadra ceca si sarebbe recata a Pechino per cercare di fare una esibizione di nuoto sincronizzato maschile durante le olimpiadi che contemplano ufficialmente solo quello femminile.

Ora abbiamo qualche notizia in più, e soprattutto tante foto del loro viaggio, a questo link.
Da un estratto della loro mail:
"Ringraziamo l'ambasciata Ceca in Cina, che ci ha permesso di esibirci presso la piscina del consolato"
"Speriamo che alle olimpiadi di Londra saremo in tanti, in modo da didvertirci ancora di più. Per il momento, ci vediamo a Milano."


Here is the report of the travel of the Czech team in Bejing, during Olympic games. Really interesting.

As you probably know, our team Krasoplavci was the only men’s synchronized swimming team to attend Olympic games in Beijing. After Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 these were our third games.

Of course, as any other time, we were not in official program, but we have organized event our selves. Because of the Chinas system, it was more then impossible to make our performance in any place in Beijing. So we discussed it with Czech embassy in Beijing and they let us make our „Olympic exhibition“ in their pool. On this place we have to thank them again and again for such kindness they provided! We had two team routines and one solo of Ondrej Cibulka during our show and there were many international guests on the embassy to see us and Czech TV and some other medias as well.

After all it was a very special time for us being in Beijing, having show and sharing the Chinese Olympic atmosphere during games. Believe or not, there will most probably never ever be any other Games like this in the future...
