Il sincronizzato maschile? E' praticamente ovvio (se non esistesse Men's Cup 3, riusciresti a immaginarci?)

I Bluvertigo e il loro look possono piacere o non piacere. Ma questa loro canzone, mi è sembrato che sia stata scritta apposta...
A scuola - dice la canzone - ci insegnano a classificare gli esseri viventi come se la vita fosse studiabile a tavolino e così non ci chiediamo mai questa domanda: "Se non esistessero i pesci, riusciresti a immaginarli?" Probabilmente no. Da qui si "induce" l'ipotesi che l'esistenza di "altre forme di vita [...] è praticamente ovvia". Mentre - dice la canzone - affermare che la vita è solo quella sulla terra è "un po' egoista, e poco fantasioso, [...] poco divertente, molto presuntuoso, molto limitante".
Ora, se nella canzone cambiamo le parole "altre forme di vita" con le parole "altri modi di fare nuoto sincronizzato", questa canzone calza a pennello con la mission di questo blog. Ritenere che solo le donne possano esercitare la disciplina del sincro, non è forse "un po' egoista, poco fantasioso, poco divertente, molto presuntuoso e molto limitante?" Secondo tante persoone: sì, lo è.
E se non esistesse qualche maschio che fa nuoto sincronizzato, "riuscireste a immaginarlo" il sincro maschile? Probabilmente no. Ecco perché la testimonianza di Men's Cup 3 è così importante. Perché permetterà alle persone di pensare, quanto meno, che il sincro maschile esiste. Da qui, il passo per capire che esso sia anche "pratciamente ovvio" è piccolo, o comunque si accorcia di molto.
Ecco qual'è il punto: nonostante le apparenze, il nuoto sincronizzato maschile è praticamente ovvio!

Asserting that only woman can do Synchro, classifying the Synchronized Swimming exclusively as a female discipline: isn’t it ““slightly selfish, shortly imaginative, […] shortly entertaining, very much conceited and restrictive”? No doubt, I would answer “Yes”. And more and more people practicing this sport have the same idea.

If no man would exist practicing Synchronised Swimming,” would you manage to imagine it”? Probably, not. That’s why men’s cup 3 is so important. To help people to think and conceive that men synchro exists. The following step is to understand that men synchro is practically obvious.

That’s the point: despite all the pretences, men synchro is “practically obvious”.
